Self-locking threaded press-in nut SL-M4-1 RUICHI is used to create a threaded fastening point in thin sheet metal. Thread locking is achieved by the increased frictional force in the thread pair, obtained from the deformation of the threaded hole by three-point swaging. When installed with a press (without impact), the mounting part of the nut is fully embedded in the sheet material from the back side. The deformed metal flows into the annular groove on the sleeve, providing reliable fixation of the sleeve in the metal.
