RUICHI RVS5.5-4 Insulated Ring Terminal, 48 A, 12-10 AWG, yellow, tinned brass is used when it is necessary to secure a wire in a screw connection. To install this type of terminal under a screw, the screw needs to be completely unscrewed, so the installation time is relatively long. The type "O" terminal is a brass or copper plate with a hole that is put on the screw. The bent edges of the plate form a cylinder in which the connected wire is inserted and crimped with special pliers or flat-nose pliers. Insulated ring terminals come in different widths and have accordingly different hole diameters from M3 to M10.
